This investment aims to accelerate epilot’s product roadmap and empower energy and utility companies to adopt renewable energy seamlessly. Founded in 2017 by Michel Nicolai, Szilard Toth, and Rolf Benken, epilot’s mission is to provide software solutions that enable the transition to green energy by overcoming the challenges posed by outdated legacy IT systems.

Streamlining the Green Energy Transition

Currently, utilities and grid operators are hindered by their obsolete IT systems, preventing them from fully supporting the shift towards renewable energy. The complexities of different product categories and the surge in grid connections have made it difficult for these companies to keep up with the demands of the energy transition. Epilot offers an all-in-one solution that simplifies processes and reduces complexity for enterprise customers, enabling them to automate sales processes for new renewable energy products and enhance efficiency in customer interactions.

Accelerating Growth and Innovation

By leveraging epilot’s platform, customers can minimize their reliance on outdated tools and complete projects in a fraction of the time it would typically take. The company’s impressive growth, serving over 150 customers, showcases the value of its solutions in driving the green energy transition. With an annualized recurring revenue growth exceeding 120% year-on-year, epilot is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector.

Expanding Capabilities with Funding

This recent funding round will enable epilot to expand its team and enhance its product engineering capabilities, allowing for the development of new products, solutions, and AI capabilities. By partnering with Expedition Growth Capital, epilot aims to capitalize on the expertise and industry knowledge of its investors to scale its operations and drive further innovation in the energy sector.
