LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. recently made a groundbreaking announcement at the 2024 Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany. The company revealed a new world record efficiency of 30.1% for the commercial M6 size wafer-level silicon-perovskite tandem solar cell. With a theoretical limit efficiency of up to 43%, monocrystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells represent the next generation of ultra-high efficiency solar cells.
